We run a wide variety of training courses and workshops from our fully equipped training suite in Francis House, and can provide bespoke training from your school – all accompanied with comprehensive user guides and manuals.

Education ICT holds an Information Management User Group meeting once a term to discuss details of software upgrades, hardware and networking developments, statutory requirements and best practice sharing.

SIMS Support can be provided in a range of formats: telephone, remote dial-up support, and on-site support to your schools’ admin staff, senior leadership teams and governors.

Our helpdesk is accessed online and support requests go to our highly qualified technical staff.

We provide guidance notes, training materials and web-based resources with manuals tailored to the schools we support.

Our online library of manuals and help guides is available to subscribing schools from our website.

SMS Notifications

For schools on the LGfL Network, we provide a system for schools to send text messages to parents or guardians. The system, working with schools’ SIMS attendance, can send automatic absence alerts to parents’ / guardians' mobile phones. It’s fully integrated with the USO system.

Groupcall Emerge

Groupcall Emerge, is an app that brings an up-to-the-minute copy of your management information system (MIS) securely to the palm of your hand – for immediate access anytime, anywhere.

Registration can be arranged whilst on the move, and student information, including timetables, is easily accessible without the need to rely on a desktop PC.

Ensuring staff and student safety is paramount – with Emerge, users’ information is accessible in an emergency when your school’s system may be down or there’s restricted access to the school.
